Off Rails

Off Rails is a fast microgame made for a theme of "Emergencies", with a focus on the UK rail systems and the many delays and troubles it faces. A focus on cooperation, planning ahead and constant mild frustration, off the rails uses a few simple systems to make a dynamic and quick to learn game.

Each player controls a train, and attempts to get to their destination in an eight hour shift. Every hour, problems somewhere on the rails pop up, usually conveniently in your path. Make calls and use staff (conveniently abstracted to dice) to remove problems and make sure you get to your final station in time!
