HEX (Version 2)
A downloadable game
HEX is an abstract board game for four players, aimed at fast and chaotic gameplay. A game about "burning bridges", the players must navigate through a randomised board, aiming to be the last one standing. Think tactically to adjust tiles, remove your opponent's paths and transport yourself around to trap your opponent.
This was created as a microgame in a week, intended for use and further development. Through multiple updates, it has become a smoother game which is both balanced and enjoyable. While relatively themeless, it does have common ideas around improving cognition through practicing calculations and understanding another player's intentions.
HEX also has underlying themes of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, or OCD. It attempts to replicate the feelings of the common symptom "intolerance of uncertainty" through an unknown board. It also forces the player into certain actions in an attempt to symbolise the rituals and patterns found often in OCD. For more information, please read the rules document provided.

Download the rules. Download and print the pieces and cut out; then cut them out. Ideally stick the Hexagonal pieces onto card for a better feeling experience.
